About Jenny
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jenny O'Connor grew up traipsing across the Lone Star State every weekend to arts and crafts fairs and festivals with her family. Her father, Harry Schneider, known far and wide as the "Fastest Drawer in the West," developed his own caricature style as a young man and has worked at fairs, festivals, parties and conventions all over Texas for nearly 40 years.
Over time, both of his daughters followed in his footsteps with patient coaching and coaxing from their Dad. Eventually, a family business was born. Both Jenny and her sister, Lisa Schneider, have been professional caricature artists since as far back as they can remember.
Jenny is an amazingly creative and highly spirited entertainer and person. She has always had a flair for adding just the right touch to every project she has undertaken--whether it be catering a party, choreographing or performing a dance, bridal consulting, or teaching a bunch of energetic fifth graders (all various aspects of her multidimensional professional life history.) She particularly enjoys drawing people whose faces have a lot of character to them and making people laugh.
When not doing caricatures, Jenny currently teaches fifth grade in Hoosick Falls, NY, and in her spare time, enjoys spending time hanging out with the love of her life (her husband, Michael), their cats, and her friends and family. She also loves reading, cooking and baking, hiking, dancing, working out at the gym, drawing and painting, and watching movies. She now calls Troy, NY her home.
